A Mexican or Tex-Mex taco on a hard or soft corn tortilla, filled with such ingredients as beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and onion. Apple’s design resembles a carne asada taco, with cilantro and white onion.
Taco was approved as part of Unicode 8.0 in 2015 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
